Rain, Rain Go Away

Since last Friday night, it's rained every day. Saturday was over a foot. Nothing quite so biblical since then. Nonetheless, it makes it difficult to want to get up and do stuff. Why do I just feel like crawling back in bed and hiding under the covers all day? Are there people that feel energized from the rain. What of the "positive ions in falling water." Guh. I can't wait to see the sun again.

I adore rainy days. But then I adore days spent under the covers with a good book and plenty of hot tea. Rainy days that can't be enjoyed as rainy days are doubly awful. I think they should be declared holidays - all of them!

I don't feel energized by rain, but don't feel to sluggish, either. Snuggly, yes. Rain makes me want to putter around the house getting inside stuff done, but there's a bit of charm in going out for errands or whatever, in as much as I feel like everyone else is going through this same minor hardship, so it seems like people are a little friendlier or warmer toward each other.

Rainy days are excellent napping opportunities, yes indeed.

Petey-Pete with the soggy feet!

Sweetie, if it were sunny every day, you'd stop appreciating the sunshine. Besides, this is just God helping you separate from your apartment.

 :snog:
